-How do you remember your childhood? What was missing in the family as you grew up?
-My childhood is a very lovely period that I cherish so much. There was love, so we had everything.
-How do you manage to stay on top for years?
-This isn’t only a job: singing is my passion, my life. If you’re committed and passionated about what you do, you can achieve everything you want. Nothing is given, but everything can be conquered with commitment and hard work. Of course, even a bit of luck at the right time can help.
-What keeps you motivated in these hard times? How do you stay creative?
-I found my inspiration in the little things: going out for a walk, playing and talking with my kids, connecting with nature.
-To what do you credit your success?
-Hard work and sincerity always pay off.
-What are your plans for the future? What would you like to say to those who love you?
-I always work on new music and stuff, I like to keep myself active and motived. We will catch up again soon.
–What is the secret of success of “Vita ce n’è”?
-Vita Ce N’è is a very sincere record, the main theme is love: love is the center of everything, the optimism in which everyone can still believe.
-What is the inspiration for your songs? Who would you like to write for?
-I always write my music with my heart: writing your emotions and being able to turn them into music is a gift and if you do it sincerely, the public will feel it and give you everything back. My children are my main source of inspiration, the engine that keeps me moving. But the inspiration comes from anything, from moments of daily life, from stories that I lived or that have been told to me.
-And what has been the greatest obstacle you’ve overcome?
-My fear of flying.
-How are you imposing your values on your music?
-I simply talk about my feelings and who I really am. It’s a natural process, I’m just honest about who I am.
-What advice would you give to someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?
-As I said to you before, hard work always pays off. If you’re committed to your dreams and loyal to yourself, everything will be ok in the end.
-How do you want to be remembered?
-I do not think about it at all. Success is measured by this, for me: how much love, in the end, you have been able to convey, with life, with music.
-What is your philosophy of life in 3 sentences?
-I don’t have a particular motto, except that in life we must not live with regrets, but we have to try to always look to the future with confidence and hope.
–How do you stay young all the time?
-I’m not focused on staying young, I’m focused on staying healthy. I try my best to train every day, to move, to be outdoors, to eat healthy and sleep well. That’s all.
-If you could go back in time, where would you go?
-I don’t live with regrets: I would do everything I did.
-When are you happiest? Is it better to give or to receive?
-To give, no doubt about it.
-How do you remember Azerbaijan, Baku? What is your unforgettable memory about Azerbaijanis?
-I am very happy when I can meet my fans all over the world, Azerbaijanis have always welcomed me very warmly during my previous tours, it is a very beautiful memory for me.
-Have you ever heard about the famous folk music of Azerbaijan, Mughams? Would you like to visit to Azerbaijan?
-No, I don’t but I’m always interested in finding new music, thank you. When I’m on tour I rarely can visit the cities I play in, so I would definitely be happy to visit Azerbaijan one day in a more accurate way, I’m curious about visit better Baku too!
-What would you like to tell people, particularly the youth who love you in Azerbaijan?
-Always believe in your dreams, always be sincere and honest with yourself and with other people.
